BAKTRIA, Greco-Baktrian Kingdom. Eukratides II, circa 145-140 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 31 mm, 16.79 g, 11 h), Attic standard. Diademed and draped bust of Eukratides II to right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - EYKPATIΔOY Apollo standing front, head to left, holding arrow in his right hand and bow with his left; to lower left, monogram. Bopearachchi Série 1H. Mitchiner 164m. SNG ANS 619-622. A nicely toned and well centered example. Very fine.
